SpikeSpace Gallery

Photographer Spike Mafford is re-inventing his Capitol Hill studio, incorporating a small gallery called SPIKESPACE. As co-founder of the seminal Belltown Galleria Potatohead (circa 1986-1996), Spike’s experience with small, progressive exhibition space makes this a natural transition. The trend towards small, hands-on galleries that give voice to both hidden talent and important work has been a positive force in Seattle, one Spike has always endorsed.

Aside from showcasing his own current work, SPIKESPACE will host small events, exhibitions and installations of artwork by others. As sole curator, the work shown will be entirely a reflection of his own support for work needing a venue.

Please come visit SPIKESPACE 611 Summit Avenue East, between Roy & Mercer. 206/325-0540 Call for private appointment.
